Online Marketing and Finance Training

Through an internet search of online training for small businesses, we found many websites that offer valuable information in the fields of marketing and finance. However, finding an actual course offered at a non-university website proved more difficult. There are many websites that offer university classes while significantly fewer independent websites offer training in finance and marketing. Of the independent sites that were found, all offered some type of course or webinar that dealt with the subject matter of marketing or finance. When conducting separate searches for finance and marketing, many of the same websites offered courses for both. These sites were business related with the purpose of educating entrepreneurs interested in starting a business or improving one they already started. There are significant informative resource websites, although the information was typically in article form or mailed materials. We then narrowed the search to websites that offered actual online courses. Some courses were scheduled with specific times and dates you had to be logged on, but most were self-paced and the student could start them at anytime. The internet search that returned the best results was “online courses in marketing”. We also tried “online marketing courses for small business”, “online marketing educational courses”, et. The internet contains a wealth of information which can become overbearing when you are searching for training courses. Hopefully our experience will help guide you when looking to increase your or your employee’s business skills in finance and marketing.
